The funding myth

We are not a government agency.
Many people believe the RSPCA gets all its funding from government and is a cash rich charity... Nothing could be further from the truth.

Bequests... Once you have provided for your family and those dear to you, please consider including RSPCA WA in your Will.

Corporate sponsors allow us to grow our core animal welfare and community programs, promotions and campaigns.

Donations in lieu is where you give a gift to us on behalf of the person you are buying the gift for. So for example, if you were going to buy a CD for a friend but you think they'd prefer to make a donation you can simply send us the $20 you would have paid for the CD and send it to us as a gift from that friend.

Why your donations matter

Your donations are the lifeblood of the RSPCA. Without this support we would be unable to continue to provide the crucial services that are required to stop animal cruelty.

There is little doubt that over the coming year we will receive hundreds of reports of animals in danger and distress, but thanks to your donations we will be able to respond.

It is incredible to think of the terrible pain and suffering that some animals endure, and although our funds are limited, the calls upon our resources seem endless.

Without the generosity of the people of Western Australia we simply would not be able to continue this vital work in the community, your community.
